Alexandre Burrows Sneaks Power-Play Goal Past Tim Thomas, Gives Canucks 1-0 Lead

With just over 10 seconds remaining on Vancouver's only first-period power play, forward Alex Burrows snuck a wristshot past Bruins goalie Tim Thomas to give the Canucks the 1-0 advantage.

The Bruins were under 20 seconds from killing off Zdeno Chara's two-minute interference penalty when a giveaway in their own zone led to the opportunity for the Canucks. Burrows, who was assisted by Christopher Higgins and Sami Salo, capitilized on the scoring chance for his eighth playoff goal.
