While Nathan Horton may not be lacing up the skates for the Bruins in Wednesday's decisive Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final in Vancouver, the injured forward did make the long trip with the team in order to cheer them on.

Horton's appearances in the B's locker room — and on the TD Garden Jumbotron during Game 6 — have inspired his teammates and fans. During what is sure to be an emotional Game 7, the Bruins could benefit from having Horton in their corner.

Horton was taken to the hospital and was ruled out for the rest of the series with a severe concussion after being hit by Canucks defenseman Aaron Rome during Game 3 at the TD Garden — a hit that earned Rome a four-game suspension.

Prior to Game 4, Bruins great Bobby Orr waved a No. 18 flag in Horton's honor. Horton later appeared in the Bruins locker room after the game to hand the vintage Bruins jacket that's been awarded to the Bruins player of the game throughout the postseason to Rich Peverley.

During Monday's 5-2 victory in Game 6, Horton was shown waving a yellow rally towel on the TD Garden Jumbotron after the Bruins' second goal, which was an emotional moment for all involved.

The Bruins have said since Horton's injury that they're trying to win for him. Hopefully on Wednesday, they'll be raising the Cup alongside their injured teammate.
