Seattle Mariners May Be Hoping For Note From Parents to Excuse Them From Facing Josh Beckett, Red Sox

The Seattle Mariners are not playing their best baseball right now.

The team has lost thirteen games in a row and there's no sign of the Red Sox wanting to let that streak end. The Mariners will have to face Cy Young candidate Josh Beckett on the mound Saturday night hoping to extend the Mariners' losing streak to a franchise-record fourteen games.

NESN Nation's Nate Hinchey breaks down the Mariners' struggles and explains why they may be hoping for a note from mom or dad to get them out of their latest assignment. Check out the video to get up to speed.
