Dustin Pedroia Bats Cleanup, Kevin Youkilis Out of Lineup as Red Sox Open Series With Twins

Dustin Pedroia slides into the cleanup spot as the Red Sox open a three-game series Monday against the Minnesota Twins.

Carl Crawford moves into the No. 2 spot in the order for Pedroia, who replaces Kevin Youkilis in the middle of the order. Jed Lowrie bats eighth and will play third base.

Tim Wakefield (6-4, 4.99 ERA) will take the ball for the Red Sox, who will face 29-year-old right-hander Scott Baker (8-6, 3.01).

First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Eastern Time.
