Wes Welker feels good. He sounds focused. And as a result, he and quarterback Tom Brady are starting to rediscover the rapport that makes them one of the best quarterback-receiver tandems in the NFL.
Yet, getting Welker and Brady on the same page and working well together is only one of the things the Patriots have worked on and are working on as they get ready for their second preseason game. The Pats moved things indoors on Monday afternoon because of the rain, but as NESN.com's Jeff Howe reports, Bill Belichick and Co. are preparing for any elements they may face when they head to Tampa Bay for a showdown with the Buccaneers on Thursday.
