Red Sox Could Use Sparkplug to Break Out of Slump, Should Take Notes From Nyjer Morgan

The Red Sox continue to sputter in the early innings of Friday's game after John Lackey couldn't escape the second inning without allowing the Rays to jump out to an early lead.

NESN Nation's Nate Hinchey thinks that the team is in need of a little bit of excitement to break them out of their slump.

Look at what the Milwaukee Brewers are doing. Outfielder Nyjer Morgan is throwing chewing tobacco at pitchers and challenging Albert Pujols to fights in order to keep things interesting in the National League playoff race.

Couldn't the Red Sox use a guy like that to spice things up and get the team out of their current funk?
