The funeral service for Laurie Hughes was held Thursday as family, friends, and supporters paid their respects to one of Liverpool’s formative icons.
The Hughes family graciously extended an open invitation to any supporters who wished to attend the service.
Hughes, a former club captain and English international, passed away Sept. 9 at the age of 87.
