Tampa Bay Rays Were More Interesting As Devil Rays, Should Consider Switching Back


Jon Lester heads to the mound on Sunday looking to play the role of stopper for a second consecutive start. The Red Sox are winless since he last took the mound and now Lester stands between the Red Sox and a sweep at the hands of “Big Game” James Shields.

Speaking of the Rays, weren’t they more fun when they were the Devil Rays? Sure, it’s been a couple years and it’s getting easier to drop the “Devil” when talking about them, but isn’t there a part of you that wishes they would go back to their old name?

Besides, if other teams dropped the “devil” from their names, that would just sound silly.
