Bruins’ Quick Start, Improved Special Teams Boosts B’s to Blowout Win Over Maple Leafs

The Bruins have struggled getting quick starts this season, and they've also struggled mightily on the power play. The product of those struggles was a 2-4-0 start. On Thursday, they got both of those facets of the game straightened out and they coasted to an easy win.

The B's came out strong in their first matchup with Toronto this season and came away with a resounding 6-2 win over the Maple Leafs. After the game, Patrice Bergeron credited a quick start and an improved special teams performance for the loud win at TD Garden.
