Michael Ryder was maligned at times for his play as a member of the Bruins, but the crafty forward always seemed to come up big when it mattered most.

That was no more evident than in the Bruins' run to the Stanley Cup last year when Ryder saved his best work for the spring. Ryder scored a handful of clutch goals and his glove save during the first round against the Canadiens was one of the plays of the year.

The B's will meet their former teammate on Saturday night when Boston heads to Dallas to take on the Stars. After signing with Dallas this offseason, Ryder has found plenty of success, and he enters Saturday night's tilt with 14-11-25 totals this season.

Ryder's ex-teammates say that they miss the forward in Boston, but they're happy he's been able to find success with the Stars.
