Dan Duquette Excited About Orioles’ Future, Feels Team Has Pieces to Build Around

Dan Duqette is back in the front office. Only this time it's as a member of an AL East rival.

Duquette, now the Baltimore Orioles executive vice president of baseball operations, caught up with NESN's Tom Caron and Peter Gammons while down at the winter meetings in Dallas to discuss the upcoming season.

The former Red Sox general manager expressed excitement about the pieces that the Orioles have begun to put in place. He said that Baltimore has a great tradition and a great ballpark, and that it's up to him and the rest of the O's staff to put together a winning team.
