Nike is an artist and the Oregon Ducks uniform is the canvas.
Nike continues to outdo itself with its increasingly creative designs, this time with the Ducks' Rose Bowl uniforms. The footwear giant released photos on Tuesday of its latest work, featuring a "liquid metal" paint scheme, reflective wings on the helmet and, for some reason, a picture of a prototype wearing wings.
In all, the jersey and pants are made from 11 different materials, and that number climbs all the way to 16 when accounting for the entire "system of dress." It's unclear how many of the materials are actually from the future.
