Panthers’ Early Struggles Against Bruins May Put Them in Running For Andrew Luck Sweepstakes

The Panthers did not play very well in the first period of Friday’s game. The Bruins, on the other hand, played great. They jumped out to such an early lead that if you didn’t know any better, you might think the Florida Panthers were at the bottom of the standings making a run at Andrew Luck.

The Indianapolis Colts might be under fire for winning a game and hurting their chances at a high draft pick, but the Panthers can’t be faulted for falling behind in this one. After all, they’re coming off an overtime loss and are missing seven forwards due to injuries.

NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is fired up the Bruins are playing so well, but it’s time to manage expectations.
