While most of the focus, as usual, is on the big club in Boston, players in the Red Sox minor league system are ready for another intense season as well.

One such player is Alex Wilson, who was named the team's Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2011. NESN.com Red Sox beat writer Didier Morais caught up with Wilson, and the young hurler expressed confidence that he'll continue to make strides in 2012. Wilson hopes that he can impress enough to earn a spot in the bigs.

Morais also caught up with pitcher Brandon Duckworth, who talked about new Red Sox pitching coach Bob McClure, and Ben Crockett, the team's director of player development.
