Ray Allen Battles Through Cold to Lead Celtics Past Wizards

Ray Allen was battling a cold on Monday. You'd never know it from the way he played during the Celtics' victory.

Allen scored 27 points and nailed six of the seven 3's he attempted in the Celtics' 100-92 win over the Wizards. After the game, the veteran revealed his illness, which he said kicked back in as soon as he returned to the locker room.

Also putting forth a solid effort was Greg Stiemsma, who made his first career start with Jermaine O'Neal out of the lineup due to a sore right hamstring. Stiemsma chipped in 13 points in 21 minutes.
