Tyler Seguin Wins ‘Chaos Theory’ Award For Clutch Shootout Winner During Hectic Time for Boston Fans

Do you believe in the Butterfly Effect? If Tyler Seguin and the Bruins don’t win in Philadelphia, maybe the karma doesn’t carry over and the Patriots don’t advance to the Super Bowl on a missed field goal. Luckily for us, we don’t need to find out because the Bruins took care of business and the Pats did too.

Were the two events related? Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe we can find out next time the Bruins and Patriots play on the same day.

NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is glad we didn’t have to find out on Sunday because both teams won, and so he’s giving Tyler Seguin the “Chaos Theory” player of the game. Seguin was cool under pressure while the Boston sports world hung in the balance, and for that, he’s getting a little imaginary hardware.

Who is your “Chaos Theory” player of the game?
