The Pittsburgh Penguins have spent much of this season without the man that many consider as the best player on the planet. No matter, however, as they've got another guy who's not bad himself.

Evgeni Malkin has taken his game to a new level this season, and as a result, he's ensured that the Penguins are able to hang around in the Eastern Conference. He'll enter Saturday's matinee tilt in Boston as the league leader in points and second in goals. For those reasons he has to be the runaway favorite for the Hart trophy, right?

Not so fast, say The Instigators.
