What was once a magical night filled with unequaled stars is now filled with wanna-bes.

The NBA dunk contest and the Academy Awards have undergone similar changes over the years. The bright stars still make appearances, such as Meryl Streep this year and Blake Griffin last year, but for the most part the competitions are now a battle of people who are almost famous, but not quite.
