Patrice Bergeron is “hopeful” that he’ll be ready to suit up when the Bruins take on the Lightning in Tampa Bay on Tuesday. However, despite the optimism shown by both him and the club, as well as the negative X-rays, it’s a bit scary when your best two-way player is battling through soreness.

NESN’s Mark Mowers said he once dealt with a foot injury, so he understands what Bergeron could be going through in terms of pain. He just hopes that the injury isn’t too serious, and that it doesn’t hinder him down the stretch.
