Well, at least we got to see some history. Steven Stamkos scored his 50th goal of the year against the Bruins in a 6-1 rout, the highlight of a night without many as far as Boston was concerned.
With that goal, Stamkos joins Mario Lemieux, Alex Ovechkin and Wayne Gretzky among others who have accomplished that feat twice before turning 23.
NESN Nation's Dan Duquette doesn't have much choice but to give Stamkos some love after this one, considering how little there was elsewhere to feel positively about. So, Stamkos is our "Short Circuit" player of the game in leading Tampa Bay's quick-strike offense again.
