Pavel Pogrebnyak Buys Jose Mourinho's Former Home, Plans Lengthy Stay at Fulham FCPavel Pogrebnyak only joined Fulham FC on loan at the end of January, but the Russian striker plans on staying in London for the long-haul.

Pogrebnyak lives in a posh London neighborhood and counts a number of Chelsea FC stars as neighbors. He even purchased Jose Mourinho's old home, according to Russia Today.

"I like my life in London very much," Russia Today reports Pogrebnyak told Russian website Tden. "Branislav Ivanovic, Ramires and Frank Lampard from Chelsea live in my neighbourhood as well as the players of Fulham. "Jose Mourinho lived in my house before."

Pogrebnyak's contract still belongs to German club VfB Stuttgart, and the two clubs did not hammer out a permanent deal before the close of the January transfer window.

But the 28-year-old has quickly adapted to English soccer, scoring five goals in his first three games for Fulham before an ankle injury slowed him down. Fulham boss Martin Jol seems eager to keep Pogrebnyak at the club, and a £4 million ($6.4 million) transfer offer should be enough to meet Stuttgart's valuation.

Mourinho, now in charge of Spanish giant Real Madrid, was one of English soccer's most famous imports. He led Chelsea during the most successful period in the club's history, winning six major trophies between 2004-07.
