Students at the Perkins School for the Blind welcomed NESN employees to their grounds earlier this week, hosting the trying challengers in a dreaded game of "goalball."
The two teams squared off in the intricate game, rolling a rubber ball with a bell inside from end to end in an attempt to score goals. NESN staff wore special-made goggles that prohibit any sight during game activities to provide an equal playing field for the match.
In the end it was plenty of fun for all involved, and it offered the employees a chance to spend time with the students.
