Gonzalez is once again set to start in right field and David Ortiz returns to his place at first base, after Papi was given the night off on Tuesday. Ryan Sweeney, meanwhile, finds himself back in the starting lineup and will man center field for the Sox.
The Red Sox bats, who have totaled only seven runs in their past four games, will need to come alive as they face a challenging foe in Marlins starter Ricky Nolasco (6-4, 4.36) in the rubber match. Felix Doubront will take the hill for the Sox, looking to rebound from a rough outing against the Nationals over the weekend.
