A couple Red Sox outfielders are inching their way towards returning to Fenway.

Before Tuesday's game, center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury took live batting practice and did some running drills in the infield, starting to ramp up his baseball activities as a sting in extended spring training in Fort Meyers is starting to come in to focus on the horizon. Carl Crawford, on the other hand, seems to be very close to getting in to some game action down in Florida, his wrist and shoulder problems being put in the rear view mirror.
