Lukas Podolski and Brings Release Euro-Pop Song ‘Halleluja’ Celebrating Something or Another

Lukas Podolski makes a nice living off his powerful left foot, and that's probably a good thing.

The Germany and (soon-to-be) Arsenal forward teamed up with Brings to make a song called "Halleluja." It might one day top a chart or two, but we're advising Podolski to stick to playing soccer.

"Halleluja" is an unholy mix of autotune and Euro-pop, which sounds like it's celebrating something. It seems upbeat enough to dance to, but we're not sure who would want to do such a thing.

Brings and Podolski both call Cologne, Germany home. Perhaps this is the 27-year-old's way of saying goodbye before he joins Arsenal on July 1. Surely, some residents of Germany's "Carnival City" would prefer to celebrate a European Championship instead.

Fans can download the song on iTunes if they want. But be warned: This is not what Leonard Cohen had in mind. It can't be.
