Tim Thomas Could Have Played Last Game With Bruins, Given Latest Information on Goalie’s Future (Video)


Tim Thomas has won a pair of Vezina trophies and was the biggest reason behind the Boston Bruins’ 2011 Stanley Cup championship. But it appears that Thomas’ days in Boston could be numbered.

Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli revealed during a conference call on Friday that the talented netminder had suggested he may sit out the 2012-13 season, for reasons unknown. The comments sparked a flurry of questions about the goalie’s future in Boston.
