Josh Beckett Says ‘Results Are Not Where You Want Them to Be’ After Giving Up Four Runs Early (Video)

It's an understatement to say that Josh Beckett has had his share of troubles in the early going of his starts this season. Heading into Friday night's start against the Blue Jays, he owned a 6.90 ERA in the first two innings of his 15 starts.

The early problems continued for the Red Sox right-hander against Toronto, as he gave up two runs in each of the first two innings en route to a 6-1 loss Friday night.

Although Beckett eventually settled down and gave up only one unearned run in the rest of his six innings of work, he continues to be dumbfounded by the beginning of his starts.

In speaking with reporters afterwords, Beckett noted that although he wasn't pleased with the results, he just has to keep moving forward. See for yourself in the video above during Red Sox Clubhouse Uncut.
