Pedro Ciriaco Proving Himself as ‘Second-Half Starter’ With Another Big Game (Video)

Pedro Ciriaco may not have been in the big leagues with the Red Sox for long, but he’s certainly making the case for a long stay.

The team’s newest infield sensation continued his hot-hitting ways, going 3-for-3 on Friday night while knocking in two runs in the Sox’ 3-1 win over Tampa Bay. Along with a long home run from David Ortiz, that was the offense on the night that Franklin Morales was able to make stand up.

NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is starting to wonder — like a lot of people — if the Sox might need to find some room for Ciriaco on their roster long-term. That’s why Pedro’s our “Second-Half Starter” player of the game for his work getting the Sox started well. Who’s yours?

Who is your “Second-Half Starter” player of the game?
