Claude Julien Has ‘Disciplined Team’, But May Look to Give Young Players Opportunities in Upcoming Season (Video)

Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien received a multi-year extension Tuesday, as Peter Chiarelli looks to keep the core of the 2011 Stanley Cup team together.

Chiarelli said that Julien’s flexibility has made him the perfect man for the job.

“Throughout his tenure here he’s shown the ability to adapt,” the Bruins general manager said. “He has a very, very disciplined team, and that’s again a testiment to his coaching.”

Julien expressed his excitement to be returning to the Bruins, also hinting at the possibility for some young players to impact the returning core group in the upcoming season.
