Red Sox Need Big Performances From Starting Pitchers to Counter Yankees Offensive Firepower (Video)


The Red Sox entered Friday night's four-game set with the Yankees at just two games over .500 and coming off of a 2-5 stretch out on the West Coast.

But as the Sox settle down and look to gain some ground on their 7 1/2-game deficit in the AL East, first they must figure out their offensive issues.

NESN's Tom Caron sat down with manager Bobby Valentine during this week's Friday Night Fenway to discuss the team's recent struggles and what they'll need to do to take down the Yankees this weekend.
