Report: Ray Allen Gets Two-Year, $5 Million Offer From Memphis Grizzlies

In the free agent bidding for Ray Allen, the Memphis Grizzlies have taken the first bite.

Memphis has offered its full midlevel exception, worth $5 million, to Allen in a two-year deal, Chris Broussard of ESPN reports.

Allen has not received other offers, Broussard reports, but Miami, Atlanta, Dallas and the Los Angeles Clippers are all interested in the veteran shooting guard.

The Celtics have said they want to keep Allen. Boston can offer a two-year deal worth $12 million under NBA free agent rules.
