Sergio Ramos Shows Kaka No Mercy in Swimming Race (Video)

The competitive spirit of the Olympic Games is alive and well in the Real Madrid camp.

Sergio Ramos and Kaka recently faced off in a 50-meter swimming race with national pride on the line.

It took place on the UCLA campus, where Real Madrid was spending part of its preseason.

Ramos, who hails from Spain, took on the Brazilian Kaka in a sprint, and someone was there to capture the event on film.

Unfortunately for Kaka, someone was there to capture the event on film.

The 30-year-old playmaker started out well enough, but faded at the exact moment his 26-year-old opponent kicked it up a notch. Onlookers were laughing by the 25-meter mark, but Ramos didn’t care.

He’s gotten so used to winning things with Real Madrid and Spain that he was comfortable with the idea of trouncing his teammate. Let’s hope manager Jose Mourinho wasn’t watching. It would just give Mourinho one more reason to cast the 2007 FIFA World Player of the year out of the club.
