All good things, they say, must come to an end. For Jon Lester, his good fortune against the Baltimore Orioles came to an abrupt halt on Friday night.

The Red Sox left-hander lost to the Orioles for the first time in 21 career starts, dropping his record to 14-1 against the Birds. Yes, the numbers are still good, but if this isn't a sign that the Orioles aren't who they used to be, then what is?
