Report: Marquis Daniels Agrees to One-Year Deal With Bucks

The illustrious era of Marquis Daniels in Green has officially come to an end.

Daniels, who spent the last three seasons with the Celtics, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn.

It's unclear at this point how much Daniels' guaranteed deal is for, but it's reasonable to suspect it could be for the veteran's minimum. The 31-year-old is coming off a season in which he scored 3.2 points and grabbed 1.7 rebounds in 12.7 minutes per game in 38 regular season games.

In addition to his three years in Boston, Daniels spent three years in Dallas and three years in Indiana after initially signing with the Mavericks as an undrafted free agent in 2003.

Daniels' best season came in 2008-09, when he averaged a career-high 13.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 54 games (43 starts) with the Pacers. Days such as those, however, are long behind the veteran, and he's now called upon sparingly as a defensive presence.
