Maybe the Patriots and Deion Branch aren't ready to end their relationship after all.
Just days after Branch was cut by the Patriots, there's already rumblings about a potential reunion. According to CSNNE's Mike Giardi, Branch wants to return to the Patriots, and the team is interested in having him back.

Branch was let go in a surprising move as the Pats trimmed their roster to 53 players. With Donte Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney also getting cut, New England was left with just four wide receivers before dealing for Greg Salas. Despite the addition of Salas, though, there's been plenty of chatter among fans and analysts about whether Branch could someday wind up back in Foxboro. After all, it'd be a Bill Belichick-type of move.
The Patriots' current receiving corps consists of Salas, Wes Welker, Brandon Lloyd, Matthew Slater and Julian Edelman. Branch has shown a propensity for being on the same page as Tom Brady in the past, though, so getting him back in the fold isn't a bad idea.
