The negotiation strategy between the NHL and NHLPA took a turn on Tuesday as 18 players met with six owners to try and reach an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.
Sportsnet’s John Shannon spoke with Jamison Coyle on Tuesday’s edition of NESN Daily and reported that the two sides continued to meet until late into the night. While it’s unclear exactly what is taking place or what progress is being made, the consensus is that the meeting without Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr was a positive one.
