How terrified does A.J. McCaron look in this video?
By now the news of the Alabama quarterback’s girlfriend is practically old hat, despite being less than 24 hours old. During Monday night’s national championship game, the ESPN cameras zeroed in on Katherine Webb, the Auburn-attending Miss Alabama who just so happens to be McCaron’s significant other. Announcer Brent Musburger made some comments ESPN had to apologize for, and a bunch of guys hit on Webb via Twitter.
However, in addition to it all, Webb’s popularity (and Twitter stock) rose wildly during the game. And, when informed of his girlfriend’s newfound popularity, McCarron certainly tried to play it off coolly, but was clearly flustered upon learning things such as LeBron James is a new Twitter follower of Webb’s.
