Bruins Not Trying to Mask Their Emotions, With Special Teams Coming Out Firing in ‘Revenge’ Game (Video)

The Bruins came out firing on Monday, and the Hurricanes fired back their best response. Now, the two teams will duke it out in what is quickly becoming an emotional affair down in Carolina.

Brad Marchand scored a shorthanded goal to spark the Bruins early, but his comments during the first intermission also could serve as a springboard for the team. While admitting that this is a revenge game for the Bruins because of their struggles against the Canes last season, Marchand threw down the gauntlet.

Now, it’s up to the B’s to pick it up and meet the challenge — something that NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is looking forward to.
