Bruins’ Penalty Kill Continues to Excel With Stellar Shorthanded Play in Carolina (Video)


The Bruins’ power-play unit has yet to materialize this season, but the team’s penalty kill has been nothing short of dominant.

The B’s did not allow a power-play goal in their first four games, going a perfect 17-for-17 on the PK. That shorthanded unit has been strong again against the Hurricanes, successfully killing off five penalties through the first two periods Monday night.
