Bruins’ Defensive Stickwork Keeps Jets Off Scoreboard in Second Period (Video)

The Bruins crumbled in the third period yet again, but the team played lockdown defense against the Jets through the first 40 minutes, carrying a 1-0 lead into the second intermission.

But the B’s could not maintain the narrow advantage, surrendering a pair of quick goals followed by an empty-netter to drop a 3-1 decision to the Jets. Before the breakdown, Dale Arnold, Billy Jaffe and Barry Pederson discussed how Boston’s team defense kept the ice in front of goalie Tuukka Rask clear.

Check it out in the video above.
