For a time, it looked like the Blue Jays were going to have an easy time of things Tuesday night. Then, it looked like the Red Sox had everything under control. In the end, the Jays emerged victorious, thanks in no small part to Edwin Encarnacion‘s bat.

The slugger blasted two home runs for Toronto, the second a go-ahead blast in the late innings after the Sox had battled back on the back of David Ortiz and some timely home runs of their own. Ultimately, the Sox couldn’t keep up with the high-powered Jays attack and so Toronto ended up a winner.

NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is awarding Encarnacion our player of the game award. Who gets yours?
