Tyler Seguin Moved Back to Wing, Joins Chris Kelly, Daniel Paille on Third Line

Tyler Seguin will be the center of attention for the Bruins offense for years and years to come, but the forward won’t be the center of any of the team’s offensive lines — at least for the near future.

Seguin, who started the last two games at center but was pushed back to the wing during Saturday’s game against the Canadiens, will be back at right wing on Monday night against Carolina, according to Flute Shinzawa of  The Boston Globe.

“I didn’t play center there for too long, but I don’t think it was working out, I guess,” Seguin said. “In the first game, a few mistakes there. Obviously the first couple shifts in Montreal, it just wasn’t working.

“I can’t say I was shocked that it got changed.”

Seguin will reportedly join Chris Kelly and Daniel Paille on the third line. Kelly has been out with a leg injury since March 11. Check out Shinzawa’s projected lines below.

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Gregory Campbell-Jaromir Jagr
Daniel Paille-Chris Kelly-Tyler Seguin
Jordan Caron-Rich Peverley-Shawn Thornton

Zdeno Chara-Dougie Hamilton
Matt Bartkowski-Dennis Seidenberg
Andrew Ference-Johnny Boychuk
