Brandon Bolden Seen Wearing Walking Boot on Injured Left Foot, Not at Patriots OTAs (Photo)

Brandon Bolden was absent on the field for the Patriots’ organized training activities on Tuesday.

Bolden, who served as a depth running back in 2012, is apparently dealing with an injured left foot. He was even seen in Louisiana wearing a walking boot over the weekend, as his fiance Arianna‘s Instagram can attest.

Bolden, 23, rushed 56 times for 274 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games last season. His biggest game came in a  Week 4, as he rushed 16 times for a career-high 138 yards and one touchdown in a 52-28 rout of the Bills.

He is expected to compete with newly acquired running back LeGarrette Blount for one of the team’s final roster spots.

Other notable players not at Gillette for practice on Tuesday were tight end Rob Gronkowski, wide receiver Julian Edelman and, as expected, linebacker Brandon Spikes.
