David Krejci’s ‘Heart Attack Hat Trick’ Powers Bruins Past Maple Leafs in Exciting Overtime Win (Video)

David Krejci is no stranger to playoff heroics, and Wednesday night’s effort might appear to be just another day at the office for the Czech center. Then again, try telling that to the still-racing pulses of the fans who watched the Bruins beat the Maple Leafs in one of the most exciting games all year.

Krejci’s game-winning goal just so happened to be his third of the night, capping off a tremendous game from him and his linemates. That’s not to belittle the effort that Tuukka Rask gave, however, since every overtime game can hinge on the smallest of goaltender mistakes. Rask didn’t appear to make any, and that went a long way toward allowing the Bruins to survive a Toronto surge.

Still, NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is hard-pressed not to name Krejci as our player of the game. Who’s yours?
