Bruins Rallied From Poor First Period in Game 2 Due to Accountability, Leadership (Video)


The Bruins got a chance to rest on Sunday after two grueling games on the ice in Chicago.

The B’s were able to make it out of the Windy City with a 1-1 split in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final, but after just one period in Game 2, it seemed like they might not have had it in them. Head coach Claude Julien said that during the first intermission he held his players accountable for their poor play, and the team’s natural leaders stepped up to push the team to an eventual 2-1 victory in overtime.
