Report: Tim Tebow’s Contract With Patriots Is for Two Years, Includes No Guaranteed Money

The Patriots made official Tuesday morning what much of New England has known — and thoroughly discussed — for some time already: Tim Tebow is a Patriot.

The standard news release, however, did not include details of Tebow’s contract, which could shed light on what coach Bill Belichick plans to do with the most-discussed player in the NFL. For that, Adam Schefter of ESPN was on the case.

Schefter reports that Tebow has signed a two-year contract with the Patriots that does not include any guaranteed money.

While a two-year pact could indicate that the Patriots have more than a passing interest in Tebow, the no guaranteed money confirms that the team is taking a flyer on Tebow, who may be facing his last chance in the league.
