It was already reported on Saturday that Nathan Horton is on his way out of Boston. If the right offer comes along, Tyler Seguin could be joining him.
The Bruins are listening to trade offers for Seguin, according to CSSNE.com. Joe Haggerty reports it would take a “king’s ransom” for Boston to trade its 21-year-old star. A top-10 pick would have to be part of the deal.
Bob McKenzie of TSN also reports that Seguin’s name has been brought up in trade talks. The Bruins drafted Seguin No. 2 overall in the 2010 draft with a pick they received from Toronto for Phil Kessel.
Seguin struggled during the 2013 playoffs, scoring eight points with just one goal. The Bruins are attempting to maneuver around the NHL’s new salary cap.
