Baltimore Orioles Acquire Reliever Francisco Rodriguez From Milwaukee Brewers for Minor League Infielder
The Brewers sent the 31-year-old relief pitcher to the O’s for minor league infielder, Nick Delmonico. Appearing in 25 games this season, K-Rod has a 1.09 ERA, has recorded 26 strikeouts in 24 2/3 innings and has 10 saves on the year.
Delmonico was a sixth-round pick in 2011, and the 20-year-old was hitting .244 in High-A Frederick this season.
In his 11-year career, Rodriguez has a 2.64 ERA and 304 saves, which ranks third among active players.
