His first time out as a starting pitcher for the Red Sox, Brandon Workman carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning against the Oakland Athletics. It was an impressive start but the offense faltered, and the rookie wasn’t able to get the win.

Tuesday night was different, though. Supported by a strong performance from his offense, Workman pitched six innings and came away with the “W.”
