Who would have thought that, nearly 100 games into the season, the Red Sox two best starters would be John Lackey and Felix Doubront?

Doubront was strong again Friday night, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks over 6 1/3 innings in a win over the Yankees. The victory continued a trend of dominance over the Bombers for Doubront, who has allowed a total of two earned runs in 12 1/3 innings against New York this season.
